About Me

Allie Cat Cakes is an at home cake bakery based in the Metro Detroit area. Our mission is to provide beautiful, mouth watering and fun, one of a kind hand crafted desserts that are baked and designed specially for you! We believe that you don't need an occasion for cake, cake is the occasion!​

A little bit about my history and how I got here...

​

I began in the events industry over ten years ago, and in that time, I've been involved in just about ever aspect! I've worked at multiple wonderful venues, run events of all sizes, become a last minute wedding planner on several occasions & have developed a passion for putting a smile on a client's face by bringing their dream and vision to life. Little did I know, the skills that have made me a successful event professional, would be the same to make me a natural baker & decorator.

 

 I've always been an artistic person and have had a knack for cooking and baking, courtesy of my mom who's a fantastic chef,  but never in a million years did I imagine I could make creations like I am now! It took a global pandemic and one cake experiment inspired by Tik Tok,  to get me hooked. From cakes to cake-sicles, macarons to cocoa bombs, they're all a unique and delicious creation and the possibilities are endless!

 

Outside of work and baking, you can catch me spending time with my family, taking a Peloton class, or finding ways to add more things to my plate; I love being busy!
